long beach car show??

i remember seeing or hearing of some sort of car show this weekend in long beach or el segundo.......anyone have info on it??

 

not sure about LBC but there's one going on in uptown Whittier. about 20 from LBC. it's going to be on the main strip on Greenleaf this weekend.

 

don't know about Long Beach...but there's the car show my friends and I are putting on...along with my photo exhibit and 6 bands playing - Jack and the Rippers, The Rocketz, The Southerners, Chuy and the Bobcats, The Hellzaboppers, and just added, The Deadbeat Daddies.

it's gonna be all sorts of fun, ya should come out to it! and it's CHEAP! especially if you drive in your old ride!

 

There is a show on sunday the 28th San Pedro - Legends Car Club Benefit Car Show - 807 W. Paseo Del Mar - 10AM - 5PM. I will be at this one.

So my weekend of car shows and events is going to be very FULL.

first there's my show tonight - with a car show, bands, and my photography on display and for sale...

then tomorrow a birthday bbq for one of my friends in the Creeps car club...

and on Sunday, the Hollywood Hot Rods show followed - if I have any energy left - by a Tiki art show in L.A.

whew. I'm gonna need a loooonnnggg nap on Monday!!

 

Yeah there is one in El Segundo, Saturday, on Main Street. It goes to about 3:30 or so. It's your typical block off the street for the day, any kinda car is welcome deal. The past couple years some cool cars have shown up, but most are muscle cars or full of billet.

Sorry DrJ, that's just what I remember from the flier in the window of El Tarasco's while I was eating lunch. But...

The El Segundo Police ***ociation is sponsoring the 8th Annual Main Street El Segundo Car Show on Saturday, August 27th between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Main Street from El Segundo Boulevard to Mariposa Avenue.



The public is invited to come and see the pre-1975 cool hotrods, authentic military vehicles, customs, muscle cars, cl***ics, and antiques.
