Does anyone know of any "cool" events shows, or swapmeets in the Northeast (Upsate NY) during the next 4 months?

Many of us "Northeasterners" have to take 5 month holidays from our hobby every year unless we have heated garages which I do not.

    Any help would be apreciated.

Good question, I think most are out of state. PA is always pretty close and plenty happening year round. Check Rod and Piston, they have a schedule on their site for all year round events.

Thanks Ronk. These Buffalo winters can get mighty long. Just got a 32 5 window and I am dying to take it out for a spin.

I think today, although it's raining, will be about the nicest weather you'll see for the next 3 mos! I was tempted to pull the roadster out, but it's torn down anyhow for some improvements.

Surprisingly, I don't believe we've met, but we do have a mutual friend, Jim Rogacki.

Snowbusters swap meet at the Hamburg AG center is good, there's an early Ford club swap in Rochester here soon too, usually has some good stuff. Rods and Customs Stag party is coming up too, if you're into that sort of thing.

Not really directly hot rod related, but there's a Tiki Art show/luau party at the guerilla gallery on elmwood on Jan 15th, should be more than a few car guys there to swap lies with. I'll be supplying some live rock-n-roll if your ears need torturing too.

If all else fails, you can come over to my place next week and help me break down a bunch of early ford axles in the snow we're about to get, lol...

I hate the long winters. We have had snow since early November. I have wood heat in my shop but it doesn't cover the whole shop so I have a portable propane heater for the area I am working in. I have had to use it outside and it makes it tolerable. I am ready for spring!

Grew up just south of Buffalo in Jamestown NY but moved away 15 years ago...I don't miss the snow adventures or trying to accomplish something in a freezing garage one bit.
