I've heard about this car since I was a young kid. My grandfather had this 36 roadster sometime in the late 50's. The car was supposedly built on the west coast and somehow he ended up with it over here in CT. From what I've been told it had a flathead with a tripower, the skirts on the rear are very distinct one piece with like a half moon cutout on the bottom, looks like a one piece hood, lasalle grille, Plymouth bumpers, and the front fenders look to be off of a 37 ford. Car was sold in the Bristol CT around 1960. It was grey when it was sold. I know it's a long shot but any info at all would be greatly appreciated, I'd love to find this car if it still exists!

I was hoping you had found the car. HRP

  3. It looks like it may have the front 1/3 or so of a '40 Chevy headlight bucket grafted on the '36 fender. Pretty distinctive. Good luck on locating it.
