    I'm still driving the 52 Merc my dad bought in 1959. It did rest/rust from 1970 to 2014 before I got it back into mobility again. Photo here of the car taken 55 years apart. Engine was rebuilt about 1980 but then parked. Merc 55 years apart.jpg

    33 years, I also have my Dad's car he bought in 1976 - 46 years in the family.

    In 1979 when I was a senior a junior had a really nice 55 Olds. Pretty much all stock but a nice car.

    43 years later I went to look at a 53 Olds 98. I'm talking to the guy and ask if he has any other cars.......he says he has a 55 Olds he drove in high school. I said, hey, I think I know that car. (I could tell he was around my age). Sure enough that was it. Still a really nice car.
