HAMB noob here. Well... New member anyway. I finally decided to take the plunge after years of having virtually every rod-related google search send me to these very pages for the info I sought. It's not that I'm reluctant to be a member of such a distinguished group of accomplished wrenchers-- my lateness to this party is due to the fact that I'm pretty green and I'm going to be stuck on the 'take' side of the 'give/take' spectrum for some time while I earn my stripes. Anyway, I'm happy to be here. This hokey message board has already been an invaluable resource for me as I try to do right by my 1953 Chevrolet 210. And now I've been introduced, as per the instructions on the (slightly intimidating) HAMB welcome page. Thanks to all the gurus for the archives and thanks in advance for filling in the blanks. I'll try not to be a pest!
