Hi everybody, I been peeking here for a couple years, but never posted (except once) because I don't love doing this computer stuff much. I think I figured out how to get pics on here now, so maybe I can contribute some. I've always loved old cars since I was a kid, but didn't get one till 96. I found a 51 Starlite coupe in a field in No. Cal. and started the adventure. 6 1/2 yrs. later I had a restored Stude (bone stock except for a 2 carb setup and a little engine work) One thing leads to another, and in 07 I scored a 47 Stude p/u that had been started by a guy in Escondido. It had a camaro clip and a Ford 8.8 disc. setup, which was perfect for me since my skills are limited at best. He gave up the projct, because of rust in the cab. I was able to find another cab and started my first hot rod . It's not finished, but it runs great, and gets lots of attention. Anyway, along the way I found this site and it's been awesome and humbling to see what others are doing. Also traded a 51 land cruiser for a 46 Ford business coupe which is to be my next project. Thanks to all before me who have paved the way. Steve
