I've been a Volksrods.com member for a few years now, and always end up side tracked on this site. I've skimmed a lot of posts, and have seen some really cool builds, so I thought I'd join. I grew up listening to car stories, going to rod runs and drag races, and driving cars twice my age. My first vehicle was a 67 Chevy short bed p/u, and I've also owned a couple Volkswagens I spent more time working on than driving. I've spent a few years without a project, driving "grown up" cars, so I never really had a reason to join this board. Until now. I have a line on a new project, and should find out in the next couple of days. So, hopefully I will have some good news to share with you guys soon. It's a lot bigger of a project than I've ever taken on, so I'm sure I will have plenty of questions and WTF moments to post.
