I've been periodically checking this place out over the last few years. Originally stumbled in via a link from HopUpMag. Really enjoy the artistic abilities shown here. I get hot and bothered about cars, but haven't had time/money to do much with them (always seem to be lacking one or the other). My main reason for joining was to be able to search the forums and post the occasional question. I have a 30 roadster body sitting on a z'd deuce frame. I have a '46 Chevy coupe that is getting the full bolt-together belly-****on rod treatment using kits from RB's Obsolete. My daily driver, until just a couple of months ago, was a gold '64 Fairlane Sports Coupe. My wife just talked me into picking up a 2003 Focus SVT for the commute to work. It's no rod, but still fun to drive. I have a '66 T-bird that I bought off Ebay a couple of years ago, fixed the brakes, and left in the garage. (Time for that one to find it's way down the road.) My dad just p***ed away and I am inheriting his 2 '40 Ford coupes. One is all stock and the other has a 427 Ford, 4-spd, 9", and Shelby GT350 brakes. My immediate goals are to get the '46 and two '40's back on the road. I'm sure that is plenty for an intro.
Welcome to the H.A.M.B. Sounds like you've got some neat stuff there. Sorry about the loss of your Dad. Keep his hot rodding spirit alive by keeping his '40's on the road. Good luck with all your projects and post up some pics if you get a chance.
