Hello all. My name is Mike. I've been lurking for quite a while. I've even posted a coupla times. Im 36 years old and I am a general contractor. I dont really have a H.A.M.B. style car, but I really enjoy checking out all the old hot rods on this site. I love the tech posts here, especially the full build-ups like the littleman coupe. I have a 65 coupe de ville that I bought in October for $950. It's complete and it runs kinda ****ty, (i think the intake is bad. I hear its pretty common for the 429) I just want to do a little body work, paint and interior, then maybe sell it and get an old rod. I live in a small house near the beach with a 1 car garage, so I haven't had a good place to work on it, but I just leased a 1200 square foot warehouse space for "my business" lol, so I took the car there and started to work on it a little bit. I've been into cars for about 20 years or so. I was into the street racing thing for a while and I wouldnt be surprised if I knew some of you from back then. (Fashion square, Camelot, Carls Jr., Marshalls, etc.). Anyway, looking forward to chatting with, or maybe meeting some of you. I am interested in the anti-donut breakfast, but I'm not sure if my car would be welcome there. Let me know. Thanks....Mike
Welcome Mike * 65 Cad, That Will Work. I Got A 66 Rag, 429 Run's Ok. In My Heard Of Buick's. You Can Sell Things, Find New Projects, Just About Everything. Tech Help On That 429, Post It For A Answer. Good Luck. Rich
