Been on here many of moons, never posted though. recently ish acquired a classic car, needs a fair bit of work to be roadworthy but I figured I’d share !
A belated welcome, 13 years you've been on here without a post, and your first one is a winner. Congratulations on your find, what are your plans for it? I had a '59 Catalina 2-door hardtop, big old cushy boat and I loved it.
Haha yes. I remember reading the rules when I was a young lad and my dad introduced me to the site (he’s always had old cars, a lot cooler than mine honestly) and I figured my Volkswagens should stay away until I have a real car plans, well, I need to figure out the front brakes. They’re not in great shape and I think I’ve tracked the prices down but it’s now snowing up here as of today. It was a clean basket case when I got it, got hurt at work a few months back so I’ve just been tying to collect things. Trying to find parts has been a pain, but I think I’ve tracked most of what I need down between road trips as far south as Colorado from here in Canada and some nice parts companies ! 59’s are badass !
