Long weekend. What did you get done??

Got the Galaxie running for the first time in 8 months. Not because it was that badly broken, but because I'm lazy and have neglected to do anything to it since then. I plan to repent for this by getting it back on the road by next spring with a new transmission, headliner, weatherstripping, and just maybe a few performance enhancers....

Anybody got a functional cruise-o-matic they wanna sell cheap?

 

Full day of yard work before shoulder surgery Friday. Doc says 4 months before any "exertion"! Hope he's wrong! I want to make a go of the '46 as soon as I am capable.

 

Me and 3 friends moved around about 20.000 lbs of steel in and around my garage with our bare hands...

 

Clean the garage which really did not help much because there is far too much shit in there. Went to a Junkyard and picked up some '47 Packard caps on Saturday, and took a sunny Sunday drive in the bucket. Also rearranged the '31 Pickup cab in the shed so that I can get my lawn mower out. Pretty productive, al long as you don't ask about my coupe.
