Hey all, Kachunk here from Detroit area. New to the board, and the hobby. Will be starting my first project here shortly. Grew up in an all mopar family, now working for generous mothers as a buyer. I purchase some rubber and plastic parts for powertrian (think pcv, drive belts, oil fill caps). A lot of info and knowledge here I plan on tapping into. A little info: I had a crusty '71 Roadrunner with a 440, but sold that a few years ago. Didn't have money or skills to get it right back then. I've been into taking my motorcycle to roadrace trackdays the last few years. It's a lot of fun, (and the only place I run a sportbike hard) but I really want to create something, and I think this is the way to go for me. Signed up for a TIG welding class this spring, and we're going to see where we go from here.
