I saw this car listed on craigslist and thought the price has to be wrong. It said $2500 o.b.o offer. So I went out in the Wisconsin snow a few hours to see it and the guy told me to bring a shovel. After some shoveling and frostbite Here she is. I took her home two days ago. The first pics were the one that the guy sent me and the others are from when we were getting it and from in my garage. He said it didn't run I fiddled with it for a hour or so and wa la she;s running good. The car has never been painted and has 44,**x. miles and I bought it from the original owners son. Who QUOTE ON QUOTE called it a big pile of junk.

A good find, but it will never be a hot rod,let alone a traditional hotrod.

fella in our club picked one up for $600, running. It just had a blown brake line.

Was gonna be the guys kids first car in highschool, but the kid wanted a 95 trans am instead ( i still have no clue) so mike got it cheap!

Double dare you to put up another poll: Yes or No-a 1960 four dour Buick can be a traditional hot rod? Perhaps I am the one on the wrong board.:)

  26. Its just a grocery getter. I guess if I was a restorer I'd like it.

Ya gonna pull the drive train and build yourself a hot rod?

My thought as well... If it was a two door it would have been a steal. Would make a nice parts car for bringing back a two door.

It cant be a traditional hot rod no. But a traditional custom yes. Well unless your plowboy and you want to cut it up that is.

That's cheap enough that you shouldn't feel bad about cutting up, or at least I wouldn't. As for the guys raining on your parade about it having too many doors, don't listen to 'em.

Depending on what you want, and your skill/ambition level, that'd make a very cool convert. A donor rusty Buick/Olds/Pontiac shouldn't be too hard to find.

A rusty Buick convertible of that vintage is gonna be twice what he paid for that easy. Especially if the top pieces are there.
