You talking about the kinda faded metallic green one ? I've seen it a bunch in Sausalito. Looks like a nice old hot rod.

For you guys suffering from vertigo. I had trouble with it in the past. If you find the right therapist there are exercises you can do that help. When I was having the problem, more than once, I would get it just turning over in bed. The therapist and exercises really did help. Don't ask me what they were as that was 15 yrs ago and sometimes I don't remember 15 seconds ago

Yes those exercises do work. I forget what they’re called. But not in my case. I was frantically doing them while vomiting desperately trying to stop the spinning. That was when I realized what I had was not inner ear related and needed an MRI

Epley maneuver is the name of the vertigo "exercise". Repositions the small crystals/stones in the vestibular labyrinth by the inner ear. There are a lot of YouTube videos that show how to do it but a lot of those videos are incorrect.

I knew they wouldn't work in your case it's much different. But it might help others. I wasn't aware of them being on you-tube

I also have Minears Vertigo, and been living with it for over ten years now. I've had a slew of doctors over the years, and fortunately, no cancer or growths. Mine is a neurological problem, and there's no fixing it. The good news is it doesn't stop me from doing most things.

Ironically, I also played in bands for years. Back then, we were really loud, and I also did live sound in clubs six nights a week. Amazingly, my hearing is very good for my age.

Even more ironically, I also have a "bucket list" 40 Ford. I wanted one forever, and every time I open the garage, just seeing it makes me smile.

God speed on your build. I'll be following along.

. That’s right, The Epley Manuver. Monte used it to counter Rommels Heimlicht Manuver at a Tobruk worked like a charm.

Very well said, @highboy. Glad to hear you're trending in the right direction. I too obsessed over that '40—daydreaming of turning it into an early-'60s street terror. You're the right guy for the project. I'm just to the south of you in San Francisco's Richmond district. Feel free to give me a shout if you ever need a hand with anything. Maybe one of these days I'll drive up there again in my roadster.

Happiness is having a car sitting out in the garage, that every single time you open the kitchen door. You get a shot of serotonin when you see the fruits of your labor

Does anyone have a 40 Standard Grill kicking around? I don’t need many parts but unfortunately, a standard grill is one of them.

A couple cracks and bends OK? If so, I can dig out some extra parts I have for sale. Better than nothing.

You’ve got the best therapy I can think of, and it sounds like you’ll need it. Congrats on everything. Very cool car.

Some patina is okay. After all it’s not going to be a show car. But that being said, the straighter the better. Can you send pics?
