    I welded 2 used brake rotors to the inside of the rim to help weigh down the base. It added some weight to it.

    For a really nice and solid rollaround work table find a good old solid wood door from some neighbors improvement project, cut it to the length you like, bolt it to the rollaround frame and cover it with steel sheet.

    thats the ticket!
    everyone needs (2 vices!) One on a bench one portable on a rim.

    i have a vice mounted on a rim like that & its handy, wheel it outside to grind, use it for welding. i paint stuff clamped in it, outside again to torch something off................ great to have around it gets used ALOT!

    when you get a bench that Wilton should go on it & youll find a rumage sale vice to mount on your pole.
