  2. Had one back in the early 70's. Bought it in Louisiana when I was in the air force. Had a blast in that thing for several years as my dailey. Ran like stink too. Had 327 built to 350hp specs with a muncie 4-speed and 411 rear. Sorry no pics though. Came accross it about 8 years ago sitting on blocks.

I have a 56' Sedan Delivery, my second. It only has one hole in the drivers side floorboard in an unusal spot for rust through. I think it had a muffler with a hole in it, and the exhaust gas did the damage. But, I have a supply available of most any 55-57 part I would need. Good luck with yours. Butch/56sedandelivery.

'OldFarts' always get the good deals. :)

Lucky for you, all the parts are made by Danchuk.

  5. Nice...and what a deal

  6. Good to see you scored a project. So much better than that '60 SD I checked out for you. You're way ahead with the '57.

  7. About the floors. I would only replace the damaged area. If it is only the footwell area that has holes why would you cut out the tunnel and everything to the sills. Just buy the patch panels needed. Cut out the rusty section back to solid steel then cut the needed section out of the patch panels. Depends how bad it is of course.

  8. Reminder ????
Fred flintstone did not have a complete floor in his ragtop....
His car was way older than yours ...

  10. Jerry,Thanx for the visit,it was nice to talk face to face w/a fellow Hamber.Glad you enjoyed the oranges.
The pickup is on craigslist for $1300.(Big surprise)Got to sell it quick or rob a bank LOL. I'm gonna go through my "stash" today & put a bunch of parts here on the HAMB.There are a few people here who are paying $200 for a "Historical do***ent"& I have the same docs for $75.WTF??????
You all know how it happens, when you have money, you dont find any deals, when youre broke theres a deal behind every tree.:(But I have 13 days to come up w/the money or get on my knees & beg for more time(NO jokes please):D
