I would like to see it with the chrome reversed on the front and the Halibrands and slicks on the back like on the R&C cover, that would be killer if it had bias plys. But damn, its beautiful.:D

The Hot Wheels "demon" name came from the Saturday morning cartoon. The bad guys were Dexter's Demons. My first Hot Wheels demon may have even been named Dexter's Demon on the little tin badge. Therewas some kind of legal action that resulted from that bit of child marketing. It didn't seem to last long, though.
I guess this post dates my middle aged ***.

It seems like it wouldn't be that hard to get some more authentic rims, real old American 5 spokes, or new ones that are closer to old ones (like Team 3's or TTO's) I know it had different rolling stock at different times, but... I like the wheels and tires in the model kit, did it ever sport those?

And the nose is slammed! It's pretty exciting to see though. Were the carbs ever that crazy yellow-gold? That kind of sticks out. It's great that whatever was left of it has become the Lil Coffin again!

two other pixs. Starbird said the springs on the front of the coffin had settled quite a bit. looks good though. Sorry about the lack of the other cars. I have seen them all before but not the coffin. I think Starbird is great.

The guy that built this (Ron) is just up the road from me. Cool dude, does awesome work too! Not the original, but pretty freaking cool to be able to do that!

The Lil Coffin has always been my favorite, I still have my hot wheels The Demon.
Dave Stuckey has a website out there www.davestuckeyslilcoffin.com , He says he built and designed the Lil Coffin.
