I found an old Fire Truck. It is a relatively small truck, obviously from a small old town. But, I do not know anything about it. It looks like a Chevy 6 banger, but I could easily be wrong. The cowl looks 30s, but the engine looks 40s to me. 2. Nice find, makes you wonder how some of that stuff ends up in the woods in the middle of nowhere, you see some pretty cool vehicles in the back of beyond with no apparent houses/farms within miles

  3. Can't make out much on the motor. But it easily could have been upgraded or replaced at some point. Don't find an old fire truck rotting in the woods like that very often.

  4. I was thinking basically the same thing. HRP

It looks like it could be a Chevrolet stovebolt 6, at least from the right side.

I searched for a while last night on google and found nothing exact. The pump is mounted right where the seat is. It runs off the trans. Therefore you sit right over the pump. It has mounting bolts, 4 of them, on top. The pic you showed seems close, but the pump is not there under the seat. There is a box, but the pump must still out. I'll search more REOs and see. Thanks
