I feel sorry for the young-uns that were not raised on AMT 3-in-1 model car kits.

...and yes, we did switch parts from different kits, but if it looked like ****, we burned them.

I like the Edsel grille and Imperial headlamps on this. Could be executed a little better, but the concept looks good.

That front suspension really needs to go, and not literally while driving, either! Fixed. Now. Please.

Wait a minute! It's suddenly come to me! I know what this car
is!!!! It's the long-lost, super-rare, 'one of none ever produced',
1931 Edsel prototype! It was thought to have been lost forever
    - stolen and thrown into a volcano by a pitch-fork and torch
bearing mob of crazed Transylvanian peasents during the ill-fated
and tragic East European phase of endurance testing in 1931!
Better get some restorers out there quick to save this thing before
the owner decides to modify it or turn it into a hot rod or something!!!!
    :D:D:D

It makes me feel a whole lot better about my early efforts.

I don't see how that front end setup could possibly hold up under real down the road driving conditions the way it put together.
As far as appearance goes, I'm just not into shock value cars.

That has to be one of the nicest parts cars I've seen in awhile:D

That front end setup has got to go though, one nasty pothole or unnoticed curb and it's going to fold in on itself.

Was it outside a rehab center ? I have thought before that an edsel grill turned upside in a track T nose might look cool. could make a good thread anyone ever seen it done?

not really my taste, but i really dig the edsel grill. I don't know as i've ever seen that done.

  19. Do guys actually drive these things down the road, or are these shock value cars just built to cruise the fairgrounds and make people stare?

  22. Yup, nice grille, but needs more cow bell and quite possibly some safety engineering.

Oh, and the alternator belt could use a little attention.

  23. I do the same thing, but I tend to forget that I do it because I use an automatic spell-corrector at work. The problem with that, though, is that "tests" sometimes becomes "testes" and "public" sometimes becomes "pubic."
