Look at the lower edge of the galley hatch. Mine had an extruded aluminum strip with a channel in it. It appeared that a canvas tent or tarp could be inserted into the channel from the side for an extended canvas shade.

I towed mine with a 305 powered 34 Ford P/U. I never knew it was back there. I had fun with mine. The only draw back was trying to put your jeans on in the humid weather without the ability to stand up.:D I put 6" of foam in mine and we slept like a baby once all the drunks p***ed out. My ice box was rusted out so we used a cooler.

IIRC, mine had 4 1/2" bolt pattern and I picked up some 30s Mopar artillery wheels.

Mine came with a home made trailer ***le so I have no idea what company made it.

Man,now I have to hate you.I wish I could score something like this to tow behind my Caddy for shows, and here you go,a couple towns over, and score one for free.I'm in Yucaipa, see old stuff everywhere, but never come up like that.

  25. Nice score, I've seen some of those at shows that were really done nice, better than bringing a folding chair and umbrella.
