I got a friend moving and he has been a collector for years, I wont say how much but this stuff is cheeper than most swap meet dreams, I gotta get some more dough and make a few more trips. Has anyone seen a grill like this before? made in 1944 autorized by ford two pieces for a fourty. I am gonna leave the oxidation on the aluminum insert very cool wall hanger.

I can't read the lettering thoroughly, but I don't see "authorized by Ford". I think it looks like an early repro -- more like replacement. Probably lots cheaper than going to the Ford dealer for the correct part.

Looks like Authorized By W.P.B. which would probably mean War Production Board. Cool.
