Body and bed not rusted out, good gl***. No motor or trans OK, straight frame.

I'm located near Houston Texas so sumthin reasonably close to pick up.

This is for a friend who wants to build the truck with his 14 year old son fer his first car. So you'll be supportin a new hot rodder.

Actually Ford trucks between 48 and 53 (first series) are called F-1 not F-100...

    Actually '53's are f-100's. F-1's stopped in '52.

  5. and "first series" is a Chevy term don't ever call a Ford a Chevy

You all might have a tough time believeing this but there 1953 Ford trucks that are F-1s (there weren't many). My buddy Derek actually had an F-1 that was listed as a 53 on ALL of the paperwork. And while everybody persisted to argue, he produced a owners manual for his 1953 F-1 that had been in the glove box of the truck since the day that his grandfather had bought the truck from a Ford dealer in San Diego. But I should be used to this since there are a ****load of people out there that have told me that my truck is a 46 since they didn't build trucks in 1942...
