ok, maybe it was '91, but there wasn't enough room in the subject box.

i'm looking for a digital pic of the blue highboy duece 5 winder that i saw at the nsra nationals in 90 or 91 (the biggie, not the mini-nat). had a bbc (427 if i remember). i think i remember it having two fours with velocity stacks on it. the engine sat pretty low in the frame and the blue was one of those colors that reached out and grabbed you.

anyone on here remember the car? own it? know who owns it? have any pix?

it really isn't an emergency or anything. i'll probably never be able to afford one like it. but it's one of 3-4 cars in my lifetime that seared itself into my brain when i saw it and i would really appreciate the opportunity to see it again.

    TIA.

simon, that's it! lit my fire then and still does, although in my memory it was even cooler/hotter then. maybe i shouldn't have asked. still a pretty cool car, though. had different wheels back then, but otherwise looks unchanged. anyone know where this car is? or the owner?

    thanx big time.
