Lookin for some advice...

So I am looking to start building a jalopy. I have been interested in them since I first saw one when I was little. I am only 19 and have been restoring a 1973 Bronco and modding a Jetta along with alot of my friends cars. I was wondering where the best place to start is, or where I can find out some information about it. Any help would be appreciated and I really love this site. Thanks
