should be possible to find some v belt "wheels" at some machine /agriculture shops, who could easy be reworked to fit..?
Tractor equipment had some, at least older styled machines had, etc...

finding a decent set of "matched belts" is near impossible as they all stretch at different rates. i would use a "laminated" v-belt.

That crank pulley looks like it hasn't been machined yet.. Looks like a raw casting from where I'm sitting at... Or maybe I had one too many and I can't see straight...

    Cheers! :D

Old wives tale on the matched set ****. I've never had a "matched set" and not had any issues.

  5. I'm glad this came up again. I have a 6-71 on a shelf in the garage I want to do a v belt on. I guess the fan runs off the water pump still?

    Hey Guys,

We (Dyer's Blowers) have finished up producing the 3 v-belt pulley drives (2").

Here's some pics. We can provide without the front cover if you want to use a stock gm front cover.

Price for polished drive kit for SBC Chevy, BBC, 392 Hemi is $1395.00 + shipping.

We have drive ratios of 15%, 6%, 1-1

Looks like this zombie post has come back twice now; its O.K., the info is still good.

I have a set of three groove pulleys like in post #13. The belts are Gates Polyflex 7M1320 USA 9D.

    Later, *****6

Looks very nice but I'm still to cheap to have bought the setup. :)
