I don't know if this is the right place for this, so my apologies if its not. On 11/21 at around 4:30 I was driving South on 244 through Tulsa, OK. A '41 Ford coupe came screaming up the on ramp near downtown and then exited near Redfork. This thing was the kind of car that makes me think, "Hell yeah, that guy is really doing it!" Bluish/turquoise paint (mostly), signs of work on the driver rear fender. Missing the side inserts of the grille, and I'm pretty sure the only gl*** in it was the windshield. Dude was using hand signals for turn signals. I don't know anything else about it but personally, it was inspiring. Hearing it coming up beside me, and then seeing that it was all business. Just a hot rod doing what it was meant to do, be driven. Anyway, does anyone on here happen to know this car? It may be a long shot, but I'd love to know more about it. TIA.
Hmm…doesn’t sound familiar but I am curious if we can figure it out. Sounds like my kind of car and owner. When I read the ***le, I was wondering if you were talking about a 41 coupe that I know 3 owners of and has been in Tulsa. But, it is flat black with flames and orange steel wheels.
Drive it like Ya stole it. Had one for 3 years sold it. Always rented a garage. The buyer told me the next day, that parked in front his house, it went missing
I would guess you saw an unfinished, unregistered car being moved from one workspace to another. No windows and no turn signal being a clue. How often have I bought a car like that and driven it home? I plead the 5th on that question.
