does anyone know what the measurement is between the upper control arm mounting faces on a 55 Chevrolet. I want to see if my crossmember has sagged and if so how much I need to push it back out

You might find it in a crash repair chart/book for tri 5 Chevys but most of the time when a front end shop "rolls" the frame the car is complete and it would be near impossible to get an accurate measurement.

When I rolled a frame (Usually on Pontiac Lemans from the late 60's) I just kept checking the camber until I got it to where I wanted it.

If you have the frame bare and are doing it you could probably put an angle finder on the surface the A frames mount to and work until you have them straight up and down and parallel to each other vertically.

my 57 measures right about 740mm from centre to centre of the bolt at front of the top inner bushes....if that helps. Although I haven't had my wheel alignment set yet.
