I'm new to the board. I've already posted an intro. I'm looking for someone in the Austin area to paint my truck. Its a 68 Chevy C-10. I am fearfull of getting flamed due to its not a pre 63. But I'm willing to take my chances. If you know someone or you are a painter please send me an email. The truck is primered at the moment. I'm in the process of starting some bodywork. So in the next couple of weeks I'm going to need some paint. Thanks.

Check with Crushproof in East Austin. Lux just hired a guy named Josh that used paint at Bud's Cycles. I haven't seen his work, yet, but I know Lux is excited to have him there.

Do you also think they could do some sheetmetal work, as in lower quarter panel patches?

Try John McHEnry at Mchenry Custom Auto body in Blue,Texas. He is good, fair priced and reasonably fast.

I'd think so. Give Lux a call or stop by the shop. He won't take the job if he doesn't think it'll come out right.
