I have lost an image I had saved, when my computer crashed. The image is of a '27 roadster/RPU tub mounted on a fairly stock looking Model A frame. There is no turtle deck or pick up box, but an oval gas tank sits behind the tub on top of the frame. The body has it's original patina. The car had wire wheels, but no hood. The particular image was taken at a camping area. The image was taken as the car was driving past. The person taking the picture panned the shot so the background is out of focus. It is avery cool image. There are 2 guys in the car. I think the car and the picture were from California. It was an small event out in the country. Although it's got original patina, I think it was a new build. OK that's what I remember, has anybody else saved that image, or does anybody know the car or the owner, or have any other pictures of this car. Cheers, Stewart.
Sounds like the car that is in a thread asking about oval vs square gas tanks. If it is the same car we're both thinking about it is a knockout. Bob
You guys are******* amazing! Not only do I get the one picture I loved of that car, I got another of it I had never seen. Jeff, that '27 is my favorite modified of all time, and hope you had a blast at Sins, and probably got the sunburn to prove it! Thanks a lot Gary. Cheers, Stewart.
Making it to sins was huge for me, best thing that happened during the show was a kid walked over, touched it and said to his friend "fiberglass body". I laughed pretty good at that.
