    Hi,

I'm looking to get a few reasonably bulky parts shipped over to Australia from the US in a container rather that by air and am looking for a good reliable freight forwarder. Can anybody recommend somebody?

    Thanks for the help!

  2. I have heard and read a few good things about Al Montana, ex Aussie now in the US. I think he mainly does cars however might be worth an email. If I had bought my car on the west coast rather than the east coast I would probably have used him. http://montanaexports.com/

I've used www.calimage.com.au previously with quite a few large bulky items. Items have always arrived and rates have been reasonable but be prepared to wait! Their advertised delivery timeframes are way off the mark, I had to actually wait nearly 3mths and I did what was required having it at their US address (www.***anship.com ) in LA with sufficient time for loading. I bought some large parts for a friend and he waited 6mths  with no apology. He did everything and they kept making excuses, all their fault. They even abused him in the end when he complained.

  7. Jas Jenners is a real good outfit. They ship the Aussie touring cars around and do a lot of high end auto stuff. They treat us plebs pretty good too though :)
I've used them twice, one car from Oz and one from Colorado, absolutely professional and painless.
