I am looking for ideas on a cool wagon to build. I love station wagons and want to build one. I had a 1960 Chevy Brookwood 2 door, but had to sell it because of ex wife. I am a brain storm of trying to select a new ideas for another car. Couple rules it has to be a 2 door, would like cool body lines, has to be odd (nothing that you see all the time), 4 doors are ok as long as its not a HUGE car. Everyone has Chevy II wagons and Falcons. Give me some Ideas guys and dolls if you have pics and maybe a location to look would be great. I would like the starter car to be real cheap so I can build on it.....LOL dont we all.....

By the way it needs to be a 1966 or older car. I dont want to deal with emissions.

There was a black one of these on e-bay about 6 months ago that I almost bought. I went for less than $5,000. I love the lines and it is absolutely unique. When was the last time you saw one??

65' Chevelle 2 door wagon??? Tough to find but they're out there. Look killer done right too... Another favorite of mine is a Plymouth Suburban 2dr wagon. They have a lot of potential and can be found very reasonable. Whatever you do, DON'T tell a mopar guy that you want to put a CHEVY in it...:D

I got a '58 Dodge Sierra I would probably part with.Do a search on my posts,(past 6 mos.), and you will see it when I was doing a disc brake upgrade. Then if interested, and serious, P.M. me, and we will talk.

Oz did a killer job on that wagon. Any late 50's - 61 wagons look great. Find an Edsel!

  17. 55-57 pontiac wagons are reasonable and easy to find parts for but resale is not good...here's my old 55 with cut coils, 3" lowering blocks and whitewalls....

Since you've had a '60 Chevy Brookwood wagon, you will know what a '59 Chevy Parkwood wagon looks like. A very unusal-looking, finned vehicle and will turn heads wherever you go. I like mine, but am more into 30s stuff than 50s stuff. If you like '59 Chevies, want to do a trade?

Mike, I'll send you a pic of the '59 Parkwood when I get home. I'm visiting relatives for the Thanksgiving Holiday right now and can't access my picture file.
