My Uncle and Grandfather's Yellow Model A Ford was sold in an estate sale in the early 2000's out of Hayward CA. I would love to be reunited with this car. If you have any info of it's whereabouts please contact me. Thank you!

Almost 16 years ago chances are slim to none of finding it,the car has probably changed hands more than once, heck it may be a hot rod by now and there would me nothing to identify it as being the lost family car.

I would suggest you do a little research and try to find out the auction house that took care of the estate sell and see if they have any records from that sale, again you will be grasping for straws but you will know you tried.

    BTW,it appears to be a 28/29 Model A . HRP

I bet it's still local and if it hasn't been Rodded, looks just the same with only a bit of mileage tacked on itParades and Sunday outings).
Have someone run the plates to see if it comes up with an owner. Or do you have an old registration card with the "VIN"?
I think chances are good that the car was bought by someone local as the car was sold at an estate sale. (It's not likely someone drove hundreds of miles to buy a stock Model A at an estate sale).
As HRP said, it could have been rodded and/or gone through several owners, but then again, it may be sitting in a nearby garage unchanged or even as a dis***embled half done Hot Rod.

Check in with the local chapter of the Model A restorers club. Chances are that a member scooped it up and has it. Those guys buy and "collect" Model A's and seem to seldom sell them.

  4. Try checking with the executer of the estate and see if they kept a record of who the car was sold to. If I had been the executer the information would have been written down and being a pack rat all of the information would still be in a box in the attic.
