Last weekend we had a reunion of our old car club (BlockBusters of West L.A., circa '55-'59) and had a great time. We're not in touch with some of our old members, and they are missed. One in particular was a guy named Bill Marshall. A fairly small guy, he'd be about 65 now, and he divided his time between LA and Phoenix (relatives in both cities, I think). Had an AV8 roadster, a '51 Chev, and a '55 Buick back then, but I haven't seen him in 40 years or so. A good guy, and I'd like to find him. Anybody know a Bill Marshall who fits my description?
ironically, my second cousin's name is bill marshall, and he had an early fifties chevy too. he stayed arond here though (ohio) so it isn't him. just thought it was neat in a small world kinda way.
