Will be traveling from New England down the East Coast to Georgia, then west to southern California. Wanting to photograph as many vintage boneyards as I can along the way, before they all disappear. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated! I have had a love of these boneyards since my first two cars: a 1936 Pontiac 4 dr & a 1929 Es*** Super Six for which I sourced parts from the long ago crushed Johnnie Monroe's in South Thomaston, ME. ( have lots of photos from there )
First thing that entered my mind when I saw that picture was the words from the song that said, "He drank the hot coffee right from the spout" Don't recall the ***le though!
Interesting photograph, his serious expression, top ****on, ****oned at the collar, pockets ****oned, sleeve cuff un****oned, folded newspaper for the coffee pot to sit on, ancient well worn table cloth made out of something that was never intended to be a table cloth. Interesting news clippings on the wall, cloth bound wires into the electrical socket. There are a lot of miles on his face, there is a story to be told there!
