I used various links that other provided through the serch function but I still cant seem to nail down what my engine is. I know its a later model inline 292 but thats it. The top VIN is F0507XTA and the number below that is CE 014363. The F is for Flint and 0507 is May 7th but that's all I have been able to find. Can anybody help? Thanks

The partial VIN might be Counter Engine. But if there's a letter between the E and the 0, then it could be a partial VIN, C means Chevy Truck, E means 1984.

But I'm guessing it's a goodwrench engine, the suffix beginning with X seems to be something they did with replacement engines in the 80s and 90s.

another hint: does it say HECHO EN MEXICO on it?
