Hot Rods Looking for heater cables.

I'm working on the vent cables for my 53 Ford wagon, and can't find any worth a damn. I tried using choke cables, but they are way too hard to push, and just bend up. I can find easy sliding heater cables, but only in shorter lengths. I need about 6 footers. Any body have a source?
