A fellow HAMB member is helping out with an awesome deal on a 46 ford. I've been putting parts together for my 41 ford build, and this should get me everything I need. I know I could do a search and find some guys that haul cars for people, but in this case the car is missing the front axle. I figured that would complicate things based on the searches I've done.Everything else is there. He has access to a loader to put the car onto the trailer. I won't have access to any equipment when the car shows up at my house, so the problem will be unloading it. I live in Huntsville Alabama and the seller lives in Jefferson Texas. I'm looking for options and ideas here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Put just a roller straight axle under it for the ride home. All it needs are wheels and tires and a tie rod of sorts. Gary

That's what I was thinking. I just need to find something now. I'm also looking for someone to pick the car up and move it here.

  4. You can unload when you get home by having a standard wrecker lift the front end,,it will still roll on the rears,,,We can load it
with rear of car to the front of your trailer.,,,Are you new to hauling old cars??? It dont need a dont axle to ride on your trailer
just bring some boomers to secure it

I've hauled a few. Just haven't hauled any without an axle. Makes sense to put it on backwards and use the wheel straps on the rear wheels instead of the front.

  6. You can do what has been suggested - use equipment to load & unolad.

Make sure there is a four point cross tie down to keep the vehicle from shifting
from side to side - attach at the frame using axle straps.
