Tag on frame: “The Rod Shop” 3019 Alt. 19, Palm Harbor, Florida, 3356? Serial number 1142 Frame- “T” I am trying to get some history to this car. It looks like it was originally built very well. It has a full red and white interior, a red carpet, and when I got it bucket seats . I’m spending time now fixing a bunch of really bad wiring, vent lines, gas lines...... If anyone’s ever heard of this place, please let me know. It would at least give me a starting point. Thanks! Mike B. r Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Also, the whole thing was painted red at one time, then spray bombed black. There were a lot of really poor decisions made by someone at some point. I want to get it back to more of a 60’s look and have taken off the Weld Pro Stars in favor of spoke front and five window rear wheels. Also **** canning the chrome dress up junk and running old MT or other “correct “ valve covers. No bling. Also thinking a panel paint job ( green tape) or heavy metal flake ? Car runs great, SW gauges show 5,536 miles! It’s gonna be a fun car for sure Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
