My dad has a 1947 Ford that has what has been described as the "Daytona Package" on it, which is a group of options installed by Ford on a few cars for racing predominantly at Daytona Beach, pre-NASCAR. I have talked with the people at the Ford Museum and they have limited information from that era because Henry Ford II destroyed a lot of the records thinking they would never need them. I am hoping someone on here knows something about this and can give me some more information on this for my dad.

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Rob
