i really don't need to hear the disadvantages about it unless you just can't help yourself. That being said does anyone have any links to the 49-51 ford being put on a new platform.I've seen one of the best do it to a merc so i'm aware of the work involved.I've looked here but not finding what i want really.I know Posie put a shoebox on a g body frame in the recent past. And to answer all the whys the car is ate up to the doors with rust.

From what I understand, G-body is the way to go. The thought has crossed my mind more than a few times, but I have no more info from that. I think the route I might go is an S-10 subframe instead. Just some more food.

    Hey,

Check the GM mid sized 80s for wheel base and front wheel off-
sets. I think these all had perimiter frames, but cross members
and boxing arn't that tough to fab.

  4. I have a 72 Nova sub Frame on my 51 Vicky. It was a Snap and it drives like a Champ. That don't do much for your rust problems. I'm also interested in what may have already been done succesfully since I have a Convert with as close to Zero Floors as you can get.

this is already off course.I'm well aware of subframes available, frame clips that will work, the measurements of the frames i'm interested in,how easy or difficult boxing and crossmemebrs are.I guess for a visual think no frame exists and there is no car below the rockers.Does anyone have any links to sites that show converted shoeboxs?I've seen posies car but i want to see other examples of already platformed shoeboxs or ones in the works.
