found this really odd and big car today in the woods. only tag on the car i can find is:
    Fisholow
    fisher and ludlow ltd
    body number 464240 lh

I found on google they made bodys and differnet panels for sorts of things. looking for car that that would would of built in the 40's

the car i found has a distictive shape to it. its some where in the 40's and has is pretty long and also a 4 door?

due to the trees around it it was hard to get a picture of the full car but i got a picture of the front

i also found this really cool long narrow hood if any one could help me figure out what its off of it would be cool as well.

Hudson of some sort? At least the lone hood. It has that platypus look of the 40's Hudson pickups.

To me, it looks like a "Standard Vanguard".
English car from the late 40's to early 50's for that style.
The woods are full of them around here.

Also Fisher and Ludlow ltd made the body for the Standard Vanguard...but I'm sure the Vanguard wasn't the only car they made!
Maybe they made a larger version or something!!!

I'd have to say we have a winner with the Vanguard. Grill, fascia, and bumper look identical.

I believe Hudson p/u for the hood is correct.
