Followed only some of this thread but Bud Bryan is still around. Maybe track him down for past info or pics.

Today I had to move a few cars around to get to one and in the process, I had to move the Phaeton. It was raining on and off, but I managed to get it out for a quick twenty-mile drive. It really is a pleasure to drive, even in this cold weather...

I had to line up the ones with '41 Ford bumpers for a photo, because why not.

Coincidentally I ended up with another '36 Phaeton recently too. It isn't quite as nice, but it is a neat car with a ton of potential. The guy pulled it into his garage in around 1960 and shut garage door, then screwed it shut. It sat there until I pulled it out a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, it can't stay. As much as I'd like to keep it, I don't have the room, so I'm going to sell it.

Anyway, I am still looking for additional photos of my Phaeton. Either from its time in California, or Oregon. If anyone has any more info or photos, please let me know!

Still on the hunt for old photos. I think I have exhausted the Petersen Archives. I was sent this photo today from the son of gentleman that owned the car up here in Oregon. Probably taken in the 90's, but still cool:

I was also contacted by the niece of Joe Passalaqua a couple of weeks ago out of the blue. She said her dad has photos and information for me. But so far, I haven't been put in contact with him. I'm really hopeful that works out.

Speaking of Bay Area cars, as I'm typing this, I am just on the heels of a there-and-back trip to San Mateo, where I picked up this bitchin '32 Sedan. It was built in the 1950's and has spent most of the time in between then and now sitting in a garage. It is totally untouched and in shockingly nice condition. A total time capsule. My plans are to just buff it, lower the front a bit, put a dropped headlight bar on it, new tires/different caps, and drive it.

I will post a dedicated thread, but here are a couple quick snaps. The photos don't even do it justice, it's pretty unreal:

I don't know why these Bay Area cars keep finding me, but I'm not complaining.
