Any one out in the world know the wher abouts of Larry Polyanick, originally a Kustom Knight from New Jersey. Was in south Long Beach California and might be in Arizona?
He's a body man , painter, stripper and has got to be around Kustoms. For yrs worked for Dunham Coach in Jersey making the Corvrodo Corvette. I've lost touch with him, would like to talk to him.
    Thanks......BARRESSE'

Heres Larry with the shades on in front of Joe Genitempos merc 22 years ago. With the tophat, you can see the late Marc Fenyo as he was striping Guy Vanderhoofs 49 Merc, also in the Kustom Knights.

YES,He was a member of the Sultans, He did the work on the Ford, 56 White with Red scallops, used in US Radiator adds for yrs. Also did a purple 50 Merc with Hirohata style sides , also a chopped 47 Ford pick up that had Buick headlight rims. Last cars I knew he was doing in Long Beach. He had a 50 Buick that had a fibergl*** roof that looked Carson, had not finished that car. Good friends with Bob Botel. I heard he was in Arizona or?

I remember seeing a car like that at car shows in Laughlin, NV and Kingman, AZ. Maybe someone from that area knows him.

Hey, I'am very proud you guys are still active with the Knights. That the Klub has survived and kept moving.
We had around 6 or 7 guys show up at my house for a set down, around 1982 or 3. I never thought it would go on into the next century.
Very very cool. Where ever I go down here in Fl with the Purple Knights shirt someone always asks a question about the Klub.

Anthony............Larrys Merc at Englishtown, we made a run there with most all the Knights at that time. The front bumper off my Merc, I had the 51 bumper on for a while , didn't like it , gave it too Larry. That Merc ended up with getting chopped 1 inch , why bother????

Actually, it ended up getting a pretty healthy slice by Kelsey Martin Of M***echussets. Hes the same guy that chopped the Jack DeMatties merc as well as Sonny Venutis. Heres Frank after he finished the car off with 52 Merc wheelwells and an ***ortment of other time tested tricks.

Different car. That was Larrys other merc now owned by Bob Recker. Donnie Blake had a BIG hand in chopping it as well. The car is still wearing the same paint and looks good. It had the nicest window trim ever on a merc. The one that Frank Ploger got was the one with the dual 49 guage clusters on the dash, the black one shown at Englishtown. When this picture was taken, Larry had the black Merc with the 51 bumper.

Also, Ronnie Montalbano has a 51 in a garage, or did that he said he got from Larry. I never saw it because when Adam Tenza took me over there, Ronnie wasnt home.

Anthony, the one with the dual 49 Inst pods, that one he sold to someone from the Fort Lee area, had a air collector on the carb, the one in the pic had a Olds engine which blew up as he was trying to keep up with me on a trip to Penns, got towed back to Jersey never to see the road. Louie bought it with the blown engine.
    Maybe its Merc Madness?

    Hey Barry,
The gents I've talked with in the Sultans haven't seen Larry in 7-8? years-
Bob Botel is living in North Carolina. Several are claiming work on Victoria's Secret ('56 Ford w/red scallops). I'll keep on the case!

Heres a pic of Larrys black merc about to get the saw from Kelsey Martin. Frank still has the dial clusters and 51 bumper. Its definitely the same car. The 51 Bumper, striping on the hood under the spots, teeth and so on.

Hey, thanks for checking on this...............Botel to the East Coast , wow. I know some Jersey guys who moved to Arizona, he worked for them in Jersey for a short while doing body work. I heard he might be with them ?
Being around cars and really not knowing anything else he has to be in the game somewhere that people know him, unless he changed his name?
