I document the history of cars and racing from Cedar Rapids Iowa and Eastern Iowa. One of my quests is to collect magazines that have cars from this area featured in them. Art Cambridge from Cedar Rapids drag raced his Yellow Submarine fiberglass Jaguar in the D/Altered class throughout the Midwest and it was featured in a national magazine. I have a scan of the page from the magazine but I do not know which magazine it was in. Someone told me they thought it was Hot Rod Magazine from the late 60s or maybe the early 70s. Do any of you Sherlock Holmes remember this car in the magazine and can you tell me what magazine /what year/ what month it was in? Thanks in advance!
Found it! Hot Rod Magazine February 1971 has a two page feature on Art Cambridge's Yellow Submarine. Thanks to everyone that searched their magazines for me.
