Is there any company out there that reproduces the internal parts for a 1935-36 Chevrolet tail light? I'm not looking for led I would like the original style like the one in the picture. light guts.jpg

that looks like it would be an easy thing to make. usually the problem is the pot metal housing from my experience.

As to the housing would it not be possible to make one out of sheet metal. Not saying an exact copy but something that would make a good replacement. As for the internal part I would try the local model shop for brass bolts and copper strip, I take it that is cork gasket for insulation. If you take a picture of the housing someone made be able to come up with an alternative though looking as original.

  6. If that is a holder for a "festoon" type bulb, you could chop one out of a trailer light fitting and make it fit.

I was just hoping someone reproducing them, I will make them myself then. the housing is ready to go I've been collecting them for a while now, some are beyond saving. The trailer light setup wont work this is contacts for two bulbs.
    Thanks for the help everyone.
