Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 31Vicky with a hemi, Jun 11, 2015.

  1. I need the splined and threaded end where the wheel attaches.
Making my own column and need a shaft. Anyone know a vender for that?

    What wheel,What splines?

  6. Yeah, but they are too nice to use just the shaft out of.

There's 6 here and 1 shaft, but it has a giant cancel cam on it.

  7. Custom built wheel, that replicates a 1916 Willys Overland.
Cool looking 4 spoke wheel, but the 100 year old wheel is a Wall hanger.
Any splines that I can get a 3 bolt adapter for.

2 days ago that hoop on the left was a foot stool,
1 day ago it was on the curb,
tomorrow it will be a 4 spoke steering wheel that looks like the one on the right :)

  8. I get 2149 listings for intermediate shafts.

  9. They don't list them on their site.
I'll give them a call in the Am.

I wouldn't think it was going to be this hard to find.

  10. I have the top 2 5/8" from a '56 f100. Had a HAMBer make a new steering shaft to fit the stock wheel and sent him that chunk for reference.

    Borgenson part # 990008

    Slightly confusing because it Doesn't say but It's 3/4 " 36 spline.

Also in one place it states this :
Description: These Borgeson Universal steering shafts can be used to help build that custom steering system you're after.

As well as claiming to be application specific for 55-57 Chevy.
