I am looking for a water neck that can have dual lines running from my flathead radiator to a 292 yblock. I have seen one in the past but don't know where to get one.

I have no idea where to get one and have never heard of that. How about a tube that spans the width between the two radiator outlets and conects with hose elbows. Then weld a small tube in the middle of the span with a hose going to your water neck:cool:

You best bet is a different radiator.

The only one I have ever seen was on the Daone Spencer T bird. It is a cool set up. More than likely custom made.

  5. Since this is a coolant return, you have a few options. I honestly think it would be cheapest, and best, to either get a different radiator, or have a rad shop convert your top tank to a single return. However, you might be able either fab something like what 117harv suggests, or fab a custom Y tube. If you are not careful, you will end up with the majority of the coolant flowing to one side, which may or may not cause problems.

I suppose you could also run the Offy 5308 thermostat housing "in reverse" and use it to split the coolant flow to both sides. Get a Chevrolet water neck for the Offy housing and leave your thermostat and existing water neck in the Y block manifold. By the time you bought it and all the ***orted hoses/fittings, I think you could have just had the radiator modified (and the hoses, etc. are gonna look kinda weird, IMHO), but it is one method of doing this.

I have seen some sort of Y pipe for this type of deal, but not for years, and it looked homemade.
