I want to know if TCI All American coilover shocks are worth buying. I also need to know what size to get, I am looking at 250 LB to use on a 29 roadster pickup. What do you think?

I have used Pro-Shocks on 2 vehicles, both times I called and explained what I had, and they told me what sizes to get. both times were right on. They are in Georgia.

  3. In Rod an Custom are Street Rodder there is a vendor selling real good coil overs. Late friend of mine had used several sets. You give them the info and they suggest. be sure to have some idea of the shock angle as this can make some difference. TCI customer service is outstanding. They help repair a shock that was over ten years old.

I have Aldan coil-overs on the rear of the sedan and on the rear of Flower's roadster. They have been great so far. The ones on my sedan have adjustable dampening which is pretty nice to have. No leaks, no complaints in 26,000 miles.

I used Aldons on my wife's Model A sedan. They worked well and were easily adjustable.

:D i am using Aldan coil overs and they are 250, they were put on when i had the rear bilt and mounted.
it was suggested that i change the springs to at least 180, because there is no weight on the back.
I would think the same would be for your roadster.
i won mine at the GG Show vender giveaway.
i would also recomend their web site for help, and to save on shipping pick them up from a show they attend.
