Back from our Prewar Pileup / family road trip. Mike and Chad who set up Prewar Pileup were awesome and were focused on everyone having a great time. We did about half of the reliability run. It was hot and we had plans with family that evening. The show was at a park that had huge shade trees and everyone just parked wherever they wanted. My new friend from Fat Monkey Garage parked next to us and we had lots to talk about. My wife kept giving everyone rides in Ratty around the park. At one point I arranged to have the guy with the old original (1940?) police car pull my wife over and arrest her. Handcuffs and all. I didn’t let her know what I had cooked up. It was fun to see how she reacted. Of course she tried to out run him. I scored some more parts from a couple of guys on instagram and as you saw above from family friends in Oklahoma. I’m really excited to get started on my Okie Coupe AV8 build.

Thanks Skip. Yes, I believe it is a 40; however, there seems to be something else going on here. Looks like it may have been ran upside down maybe…. Are those cut off spring over axles perches on what would be the bottom side?

39-40 rear with juice brakes. The rear is upside down in these pictures (or flipped over)

Thanks Wheeldog57. Here’s another pic. What piece has been torched off here? Same on both sides. 0D9B60BF-A993-46B9-AC6B-EA51CF26DAEA.jpeg

Okay. Another question for my posse. I’m starting to build my own engine run up stand. I need to return the one I borrowed back to my friend Raymond. I’m working on the mock up for everything first. I just realized that my 59ab has 20 inch centerline motor mounts and my 8BA has 21 inch.

My question is about the 8BA water pumps / motor mounts. Is the 21 inch for trucks or something and are there 20 inch water pumps/ mounts I can get for it? I’m also going to dive into my stack of books.
