Good Morning all, I know this might be a long shot but I will throw it out there anyway. I just moved to Dayton Ohio, I retired from the military and I am going to school at UNOH for Auto/High Performance Motorsports. I am looking for a place to work and learn as I attend school for the next few years. If anyone on here has a shop and is looking for a reliable guy to work there and you are willing to train along the way I am interested. I am willing to be the lowly intern that sweeps up, cleans up the shop, does the busy work as long as your shop would be willing to teach me some things along the way. I have 22 years of honorable service, don't have any drinking/drug problems, am a quick learner and I am eager to learn as much as I can. Also, if anyone in the Dayton area is working on a project and just wants an extra set of hands to help out wrenching now and then I am interested in that also. Just moving here I don't know any body working on a car right now so throwing it out there.
I am interested in helping out when ever you are working. I go to school in the am's so 730-1230. After that I am free.
I will let you know when I get started,I work all day to 5 so it will be in the evening and on weekends. If we have a real winter it might just be on weekends and I will be hiding in the basement building models after work..
